Policies

Privacy Policy

Rynuu collects only what it needs to connect clients with fitness professionals, take bookings and payments, and support training. Rynuu does not sell personal information or show ads.

Effective date: October 4, 2026. This policy applies to the Rynuu app and rynuu.com, operated by Onix Performance, LLC, doing business as Rynuu (“Rynuu”, “we”).

Health-related information

Check-ins and body weight can reveal information about your health. You choose whether to share them, and every check-in question is optional. Only you and the professionals you have booked can see them. We use them only to show your progress and help your professional train you, never for advertising.

How we use information

•         Run your account and show professionals in search, including distance from you

•         Book, charge, refund and pay out sessions, and run the trainer plan

•         Deliver messages and notifications about bookings, messages, group sessions and check-ins

•         Show professionals and Rynuu how clients found them (search, invite link or event), to measure what works. We report this in totals and per professional; we don’t sell it or use it for ads

•         Review profile photos and show the Verified badge after we check certificates you email us

•         Keep Rynuu safe, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations

•         Answer support requests

Who can see your information

•         Clients see a professional’s public profile: photo, name, bio, city, specialties, prices, Verified badge and approximate distance.

•         Professionals see, for clients who have booked them: the client’s profile, bookings, messages, check-ins, weight readings, the workouts they assigned, and how the client found them (search, invite link or event). For their own events, professionals see how many people opened the code and how many booked.

•         Service providers that run Rynuu for us, under contract: Supabase (database, file storage and servers), Stripe (payments, payouts, identity verification and the trainer plan; for professionals, we send Stripe their display name and a short description of their business to start payout setup) and Expo (sends push notifications to Apple and Google). Apple and Google deliver the app.

•         Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of people using Rynuu.

•         Business transfer: if Rynuu is sold or merged, information would move with it under this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your profile, photos, messages, notes, workouts, check-ins and weight readings within 30 days. We keep records of payments, refunds and payouts as long as tax and financial laws require. Stripe keeps its own records under Stripe’s privacy policy.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app: My Profile (clients) or Edit Profile (professionals) → Delete account. You can also email admin@rynuu.com. Upcoming sessions are cancelled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. A professional with an active trainer plan should cancel it first; deleting the account also cancels it.

Your choices and rights

•         See and correct your profile in the app at any time.

•         Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it, at admin@rynuu.com.

•         Turn off location access in your phone’s settings; you can search by ZIP code instead.

•         Depending on your state, you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections, and access is limited by account so people see only what this policy describes. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away at admin@rynuu.com if you think your account has been misused.

Age

Rynuu is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the effective date. For significant changes, we will also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.

Terms of Service

Rynuu is a marketplace and set of tools that connects clients with independent fitness professionals. Rynuu does not provide training itself. By creating an account you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Effective date: [date]. These Terms are an agreement between you and Onix Performance, LLC, doing business as Rynuu (“Rynuu”, “we”).

1. Who can use Rynuu

•         You must be at least 18 and able to make a binding agreement.

•         Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.

•         Give accurate information, and keep your profile up to date.

2. Rynuu’s role

•         Professionals are independent businesses, not Rynuu employees or agents. Each professional decides how they train, and is responsible for their own services, qualifications, insurance, licenses and taxes.

•         Rynuu does not supervise sessions and is not a party to the training arrangement between a client and a professional.

•         The Verified badge means Rynuu reviewed certificates the professional emailed to us. It is not a guarantee of their skill, conduct or results, and certificates can expire.

3. Health and safety

•         Exercise carries a risk of injury. Check with a doctor before starting a new program, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury or are pregnant.

•         Tell your professional about injuries and limitations, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.

•         Workouts, check-ins and progress tracking are for general fitness. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

•         To the extent the law allows, you take on the risks of the training you choose to do.

4. Bookings

•         Clients book open times that professionals publish. Bookings are confirmed instantly once paid.

•         Weekly plans repeat the same session every week until the client or professional stops the plan. Sessions are added 4 weeks ahead, and weeks the professional has blocked off are skipped.

•         Group sessions are classes a professional names and runs for several clients at once. Rynuu reviews each group session before clients can see it. If fewer clients than the professional’s minimum have booked 12 hours before a date, that date is cancelled and everyone who booked is refunded.

•         Class packs are bundles of group-session classes that a professional sells at a price they set. A pack can only be used with that professional, for the group sessions it lists, and it expires a set number of days after purchase (between 30 and 365 days, shown before you buy). Each class you book with a pack uses one class from it.

•         You can’t hold two bookings at the same time (two group sessions, or a group session and a 1-on-1 session).

•         A session that is not marked complete is completed automatically 48 hours after it ends, unless it was cancelled or reported as missed (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).

•         Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Payments (clients)

•         You pay the session price shown when you book. Payments are processed by Stripe.

•         Each session in a weekly plan is charged to your saved card when it is added to the calendar, about 4 weeks ahead. By starting a weekly plan, you authorize these charges until you stop the plan.

•         If a weekly charge is declined, that session is cancelled and the time is released.

•         You pay a class pack’s full price when you buy it. Classes in a pack can’t be transferred to someone else or exchanged for cash.

6. Payouts and fees (professionals)

•         To be bookable, professionals must complete payout setup with Stripe and agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement.

•         Rynuu keeps a 10% platform fee on each session and pays Stripe’s processing fees. You receive 90% of the session price.

•         Payouts are sent after a session is complete, or after a late client cancellation. Stripe then sends funds to your bank on its schedule.

•         Class packs: the per-class price is the pack price divided by the number of classes. You receive 90% of the per-class price each time a class is used (after the class, or after a late cancellation or no-show). When a pack expires with classes unused, you receive 90% of the value of those unused classes. If you leave Rynuu, your clients’ unused classes are refunded to them.

•         You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. Stripe may send you a tax form.

7. Trainer plan (professionals)

•         Professionals need an active Rynuu plan to appear in search and take new bookings. The plan is $10 per month.

•         New professionals get a 30-day free trial, once. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan starts automatically and renews every month on the same date, charged to your saved card, until you cancel.

•         Cancel anytime from the app (Manage plan). Cancelling stops future renewals; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid. We do not refund partial months.

•         If a renewal payment fails or the plan ends, you are hidden from search and cannot take new bookings. Sessions already booked still happen and are paid out.

•         We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.

8. Your content and conduct

•         You keep ownership of what you post (photos, profile text, messages, workouts). You give Rynuu permission to host, display and process it to run the service.

•         Profile photos must be a real, recent photo of you. Rynuu reviews photos and may reject any of them.

•         Do not post false, harmful, hateful, sexual or illegal content; harass anyone; impersonate someone; or misuse anyone’s information.

•         Keep bookings and payments on Rynuu. Do not use Rynuu to find clients or professionals and then take payment outside it for sessions arranged through Rynuu.

•         Do not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app.

9. Ending your account

•         You can delete your account at any time in the app.

•         If a professional deletes their account, upcoming sessions are cancelled and refunded, and their clients’ unused class-pack classes are refunded. If a client deletes their account, their unused class-pack classes are lost and not refunded.

•         We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk. Where possible, we will tell you why.

•         Sections that by their nature should survive (fees owed, disclaimers, liability limits, disputes) continue after an account closes.

10. Disclaimers

Rynuu is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that professionals or clients will be available, that the app will always work without errors, or any fitness result.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Rynuu is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injuries or losses arising from training sessions or from the conduct of any client or professional. Rynuu’s total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid Rynuu in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

12. Disputes

•         Contact admin@rynuu.com first; most issues are resolved quickly.

•         [Attorney to choose: arbitration with a class-action waiver, or small claims and state courts in Fairfax, VA.]

•         These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virgina, except where your local law requires otherwise.

13. App stores

If you downloaded Rynuu from the App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and Rynuu, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to support the app.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post changes here and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Rynuu after that means you accept them.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancel more than 12 hours before a session and you get a full refund. Within 12 hours there is no refund, and your professional is still paid. If your professional cancels, you always get a full refund.

Effective date: October 4, 2026.

Group sessions

A spot in a group session follows the same rules as the table above: cancel 12 or more hours before for a full refund; cancel later or don’t show up and there is no refund. In addition:

•         If your professional cancels a group-session date, everyone who booked gets a full refund.

•         If fewer clients than the professional’s minimum have booked 12 hours before the start, that date is cancelled automatically and everyone who booked gets a full refund.

Class packs

A class pack is a set of group-session classes you buy from one professional at a price they set. The per-class price is the pack price divided by the number of classes.

Refunded to your card: the price you paid, minus the per-class price of the classes you used

•         Packs aren’t refundable once bought, except when your professional leaves Rynuu or you were charged in error.

•         Each pack’s expiry is shown before you buy, and the date to use it by is shown in My Sessions. You can’t book a class that starts after your pack expires.

•         If you delete your account, unused classes are lost and not refunded.

•         Classes can’t be transferred to someone else or exchanged for cash.

Weekly plans

•         Each weekly session is charged to your saved card when it is added to the calendar, about 4 weeks ahead. Each one follows the rules above on its own.

•         Stopping a weekly plan cancels every session more than 12 hours away, with a full refund for any already charged. Sessions less than 12 hours away stay booked; you can still cancel them, under the late-cancellation rule.

•         If a weekly charge is declined, that session is cancelled and nothing is charged. Your plan continues, so update your card to keep the next weeks.

•         If your professional stops the plan, sessions more than 12 hours away are cancelled and fully refunded. Sooner sessions stay booked; if your professional then cancels one, you get a full refund.

If a session didn’t happen

Sessions are marked complete automatically 48 hours after they end. If your professional didn’t show up, email admin@rynuu.com within those 48 hours with the session date. We will check with the professional and, if the session was missed, refund you in full.

Unfinished bookings

A time, group-session spot or class pack is held for 15 minutes while you pay. If payment isn’t completed, the hold is released and nothing is charged.

When refunds arrive

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. They usually show up within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Trainer plan (professionals)

•         Cancel during the 30-day free trial and you are not charged.

•         After that, the plan is $10 per month. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays active until the end of the month already paid. We do not refund partial months or unused time.

•         If you were charged in error, email admin@rynuu.com within 30 days and we will make it right.
